Empowering Baltimore through fresh food, education, and sustainability.
Harlem Park Community Farm is more than a farm — it's a movement. Operated by Grow & Eat Inc., we use food as a tool for healing, education, and empowerment. Since 2019, we've helped youth, families, and neighbors reconnect with the land, learn new skills, and build a healthier, more sustainable future together.
Harlem Park Community Farm isn’t just about growing food—it’s about growing opportunities, knowledge, and community. Since 2019, we’ve been dedicated to making fresh, healthy food accessible while teaching valuable skills in gardening, cooking, and sustainability. Operated by Grow & Eat Inc., our mission is to cultivate a future where food security and education go hand in hand.
Harlem Park Community Farm started as a small idea with a big purpose—to create a space where fresh food, education, and community come together. With just a few raised beds and dedicated volunteers, we took our first steps toward building a sustainable future.
The farm grew as more people joined the movement. With the support of volunteers and local residents, we expanded our garden beds, introduced more crops, and started hosting small community events. It became more than just a farm—it became a gathering place.
To expand our reach and create lasting change, Harlem Park Community Farm officially became part of Grow & Eat Inc., a nonprofit dedicated to food security and sustainability. This step allowed us to bring in funding, form new partnerships, and launch structured programs for the community.
Education became a core part of our mission. We introduced hands-on gardening and cooking programs for schools, youth groups, and families—teaching the next generation about food, sustainability, and self-sufficiency.
With more support and growing awareness, we expanded our programs to include wellness activities like yoga, art, and community gatherings. Cooking classes, food distribution, and sustainability workshops helped us reach even more people.
Harlem Park Community Farm is more than just a farm—it’s a movement. As we look ahead, we’re focused on growing our programs, reaching more families, and making fresh, healthy food accessible to everyone. With your support, we’re building a future where food security, education, and community go hand in hand.
At Harlem Park Community Farm, we believe access to fresh, healthy food is a right, not a privilege. Through education, sustainability, and community-driven initiatives, we empower people to grow their own food, build stronger communities, and create a healthier future for all.
A space for people to connect, volunteer, and grow together.
